With my work for the Gallatin Wildlife Association, I had the chance to head for the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge near the Idaho/Montana border in southwest Montana. There are some issues there pertaining to the arctic grayling that needed a better understanding on my part and the former Refuge Manager was agreeable to take a little field trip to the area and it was a wonderful day - beautiful country - a part of the state I had not seen before.
